We want to help you be successful with your water conservation commitments! Please complete the attached water commitment form. We will alert you to new water conservation initiatives, rebate programs, and more. From time to time, we will offer free water saving devices.

Participation is easy and it's FREE. Become a Friend of the Bow today, and help sustain the health of the Bow River.

Action Item I'll do this! Maybe later I already do this Does not apply to me
I will check my toilet and taps for leaks and, if needed, I will fix the leak.
I will run my dishwasher only when full OR, even better, I will wash my dishes by hand using one sink for washing and one sink for rinsing.
I will run my clothes washer only when it is full.
I will turn off my tap while I am brushing my teeth or shaving.
I will purchase a rain barrel to collect water for watering my lawn.
I will install a water timing device to limit the amount of water I use for watering my lawn.
I will "green" my yard by planting native species of grass or plants that require less water than lawns.
I will purchase and install a low flush or dual flush toilet. Note: Your municipality may have a rebate program!
I will purchase and install a low flow faucet and/or a low-flow shower head. Check with your municipality for water savings devices and rebates.
